is it possible to say more to this Lonchaeidae?
I breed the fly from a pupa that I found under bark.

yes you are correct! - its a female in the genus lLnnchaea Unfortunately I cant say much more than that from a photo - is it possible you could send me the specimen for ID to species level ......... Iain
