Hi Last week I found this bee-fly. It is a Bombylius with almost hyaline wings so it may be difficult to identify (the previous one I put on the forum remained unanswered). With this key (which lacks several french species) I came to Bombylius cinerascens and I find it very similar to this specimen. Is it exact? Are there any identification keys for bee-flies that can be used for specimens seen everywhere in France? Found in Bois de Vincennes (Paris, Île-de-France, France) on the 24th of April 2021 Body length : around 8 mm Edit : the ID has been confirmed by Eklans in the other thread : https://www.diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?forum_id=5&thread_id=100364 Axel D attached the following image: [284.13Kb] Edited by Axel D on 02-05-2021 15:11 |
