Aquatic or Terrestrial Diptera?

Hi all,

I found these adult Diptera in my Malaise traps near the shore of a lake in southern Germany. Based on aquatic sampling nearby, I know I have multiple species of Chironomidae, which I am grouping together (for my own sanity). The attached Diptera have lipid profiles similar to Chironomidae but I want to confirm if they are actually aquatic-based or terrestrial-based Diptera.

Any guesses would be appreciated!

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
