Hello. This Phoridae was observed on march 28th 2021 at home (north of Yonne department in France). 1° with postero-dorsal bristles on the scutum 2° with a first tarsus segment of the fore-leg more longer than the 5th, I believe that this specimen belongs to the Megaselia genus. One characteristic of this specimen is the presence of a twin black strip on tergite 3. Such a specimen was already observed in France by Chen which was presented in your forum on 30-12-2018. What is your opinion ? With all my thanks for a response. Regards, Jean-Michel Garel.
