I would say no, unless the species was placed in the wrong genus. Cyrtopogon has a pronounced facial swelling (gibbosity) and the structure of the antennae are quite different. It is also generally 'hairy' and not so much 'bristly'. Compare with https://diptera.info/photogallery.php?photo_id=960. |
