Micro-Brachycera with odd venation

Hello, This tiny Brachycera (about 1 mm long) has been found on the atoll of Tikehau, in French Polynesia. With this odd venation, I have no idea of the family. Does it mean something to anyone here please ? Thibault Tramage attached the following image: ![]() [53.85Kb] |

My first thought is Asteiidae or Xenasteiidae. |

Thank you very much, your thought led me to the family Xenasteia, and my specimen is a mix of Xenasteia palauensis for the coloration, and X. sabrosky for the genitalia (but both coloration and venation are different).
