Hi, this Ephydridae was observed to day on Nympheas leafs from a private pond (near the town of Sens, Yonne department, France). It seems to me that Notiphila is probably the good genus. Is it possible to get the species. I don't think you can ID this to species - you need to see the setae on the face to start with. James |
