Today in an insect/bird font Ansbach, 2025-05-16, garden near old deciduous forest in Frankenhoehe Nature Park I think it's a female Ceromya but I'm not sure, which species. eklans attached the following image:  [83.02Kb] |

This one looks very exciting. Photographs are showing many angles, that is great. That said, it is still difficult to assess the setulae on wing veins etc. So, I need to study several alternatives You didn't collect it, by any chance? Theo |

Thank you very much Theo. No, I didn't collect it, but here are some images of the wings. Looks like r1 has bristles dorsally on its whole length, while the underside and cu1 are bare. + Abdomen black-brown, covered with dusting: female Ceromya flaviseta? eklans attached the following image:  [75.57Kb] |
