I'm quite sure that Chalcosyrphus eunotus is correct, but isn't it a female?

The photo is really bad... the distance between the eyes is hard to read, but I read that the female has more gray spots on her abdomen, but again, it's hard for me to be sure. Anyway, I'll try to take better photos if I see it again. It's still in that old, neglected forest...Thanks for your quick reply. |
