It was resting on a leaf of Symphytum officinale. Is it possible to identify its genus or, at least, its subfamily ? Thank you in advance, Dominique |

Thank you, John, for clarifying that. I read (on the internet - BugGuide "Tribe Chironomini" that this tribe consists of five groups (of genus) : Chironomus, Harnischia, Polypedium Endochironomus, Stenochironomus, Lauterborniella. Do you agree with that ?Dominique |
