One Question please. Can this Diptera species be assigned to a family? If I didn't have a website where I've uploaded all my observations from my fields and in the village, I wouldn't be asking. I would be very grateful for a reply. Hello Karl, from what I see: a male of the Empis (Leptempis) maculata group. If you have a lateral image, we could try to be more safe.
