Hi. This small Tachinidae was observed on august 15th at home (near the town of Sens, Burgondy, France). It seems to me that Actia is the good genus. However, the picts are not vey good to see on wings veins (R1, R4+5 and CuA1) the bristlets. In these conditions the species identification appears difficult. Are you able to identify this spécimen ? Tibiae are reddish, hence it is Peribaea. Actually the hind margins of tergites are yellow (take a close look !), so it is NOT the most common species P. tibialis. Antenna is not fissicorn and second tarsal segment of front leg is not thickened, excluding both sexes of setinervis. So first option would be P. minuta. Theo |
