Hello,
I found two days ago in my garden in Lille (North, France) this Chloropidae of the genus Elachiptera.
In 2024 I had found in my garden the species E. bimaculata and E. cornuta but the small fly I present here has a different appearance : there are in particular the sides of the thorax and the pleural region which are frankly orange and I have not found this characteristic in the different species of the genus Elachiptera I saw in the galleries of LMDI and Dipera Info.
I would therefore like to have your opinion about the species of this insect.
Thank you in advance.
Dominique
