Hello, Another Cylindromyia seen in France. I think it's Cylindromyia brassicaria (female) because : - 3 pairs of scutellar setae - female with 4 marginal setae on T4 - no setae near posterior angles of margin on ventral side of T2 Is it correct ? Hi Theo, Thank you very much ! It is largely thanks to you and your interventions on this forum that I was able to find the information to identify these Cylindromyia (in particular the number of pairs of bristles on the scutellum, which is not always indicated in the key to the Tachinidae of Central Europe). In any case, now I think I will look for these Cylindromyia even more. They were already flies that I loved to photograph, but being able to put a name on some is even more motivating |
