Hi,
Some days ago a Tephritid female rested on my window. I could only photograph its lower side. As expected, it flew off when I cautiously opened the window. The wing markings made me think of Tephritis fomosa. Are there any better suggestions? Comments are appreciated!
The location was southwestern Germany, 20 km west of Stuttgart. The red background is the roof of the neighbour's house.
Many thanks, Sundew
