I don't understand why Séguy 1940; Edwards 1925 and Hutson et al 1980 say "crossevein r-m more than twice as long as R1" as in this case (and another I have studied) r-m is almost twice as R1. With a ruler on the screen, here r-m is 36 mm and R1 19 mm long.
