Do you remember which thistle they were sitting on ? According to Smit (2010) host plants of T. hyoscyami are Carduus crispus, C. defloratus, C. acanthoides, C. personata. The other possibility is Tephritis hendeliana, host plant Carduus nutans. Ben |
