Hello! These are photos from Beat Weisskopf, who allowed me to post them here. Taken on April-05 near Bern, Switzerland. A Tephritis species? Thanks in advance! everted glands!  Not only in Lauxaniidae, also in Tephritidae.  i suppose all Tephritoidea flies have these type of glands. |
