4.2mm male - Berlin - October 2017 I think that Suillia variegata looks similar but i have no experience with this family. I also do not have reference material. Thank you for your time. eidt: the original photo is something different. I've edited this post a few times trying to get it correct. After this final edit, i will rest. edit: this is from 2017. i thought that this is a Suillia sp. when i first looked at this species. Now i see that it only has 1+3 dc, so it can't be Suillia. I see similar Opomyzidae but i'm not sure where this one belongs. I have no reference material.

I'm sorry for this sloppy post. I am stressed and tired today. My two year old son is a bit wild today and i am having trouble focusing. I see now why people say "terrible twos". anyway, i've posted the correct genitalia for Suillia variegata but the species is something different. I will update this post with the correct photo. It is a paler form of S. variegata and has 1+4 pairs of dorsocentral bristles.
