Hello,

This Heleomyzidae was about 10mm (Belgium, 30-11-2011).
Male of Suillia ?
I've already seen one identified as affinis or umbratica by Katka and Andrzej but here also plumose arista but the fore and hind tibia not darkened apically and basally ---> not affinis or umbratica ?

I see few setulae in the postsutural mesopleural part. So not an affinis species-group Sad. Unfortunatelly, the pictures don't allow me a closer identification Frown Andrzej

If the dorsal surface of scutellum is laterally setulose ;-) I would say Suillia notata :-) Andrzej Grin
