"that figures' = that makes total sense.
There are 2 species of Strongygaster: celer, which is a spring species, and globula, late summer.

As for Kirov, missed that, I'd better said ' in eastern Europe', since it is already true in eastern Poland.
Genus is very rare in Western Europe.
