2013-08-04, Degeberga Sweden, ca 5 mm

I know Siphona females are difficult(impossible) ...
Edit: Male !

The palp of this one doesn´t really fit geniculata .
Edit: Wasn´t aware geniculata in Andersen´s key would be cristata.

You wrote female, but image 5 looks male to me. (I'm not an expert on sexing Cyclorrhapha.)

That should make it a male S. geniculata ( If urbana in Andersen´s key = geniculata ? )

Yeah, you have to be careful to correct Andersen's key with regard to Siphona urbana/geniculata/cristata. While Andersen's treatment was strictly correct, Tschorsnig, Herting & O'Hara successfully petitioned for the name to be retained due to common usage. S. geniculata was conserved by the replacement of the lectotype with a neotype.

See ICZN case 3084 & opinion 1975 Smile

Andersen's urbana = current geniculata
Andersen's geniculata = current cristata
