Hi! Today I went on a looooong trip in the Bukk mountains, NE Hungary. Among many other insects, I found some Heleomyzids, this is a presumed female (much bigger than the males also there). orest, on a rock.

Hi, collected ? a lateral view is important to verify my hypothesis :-) which I have Anyway a member of the tribe Heleomyzini ! Thank You for Your quick reply - Sorry for being late with this pic, but I was exhausted after this long filed trip (altogether it was 12 hours long - we got a bit lost and underestimated the distance but saw really interesting animals and plants). So here are the photos, I think they 'll confirm You!

Thank You very much! Interesting, I toght it was a female because it was bigger than the ones trying to land by it. Maybe those were other species. (This fly scared them away). |

Hey Andrzej, what are the features to watch out for? I think I have some similar species of this genus in my collection from Ljubljana, Slovenia. |
