Could this 4 mm male be a Minettia plumicorns or a close relative?
Photos from 23 June 2013 Kramfors 62 N, E 17 Ã…ngermanland, Sweden.

Thanks for your help in advance

I stand corrected, luckily by myself: Sapromyza (Sapromyzosoma) quadripunctata and not Minettia. The interalar setae are not present, ocellar setae are located outside the ocellar triangle and on close examination it is possible to see small black markings on tergites 5 and 6.

We seem to have Sapromyza albiceps, amabilis, apicalis, basalis, hyalinata, nitida, obesa, obsoleta, opaca, setiventris, sedxpunctata and zetterstedti in Sweden.

Parhaps spieces name are different in Sweden?

In Fauna Europeae Sapromyzosoma is already listed as valid genus (rather than as subgenus) and Sweden is mentioned as country where the species is present. See http://www.faunae...p?id=62201.
