But which one? Can it be ID'd?
There was quite a few of them there.

Size: ~5mm
Date: 11 September 2008
Location: On Tanacetum vulgare on a small meadow near apartment buildings (Helsingborg, Sweden)

Rhamphomyia variabilis seems tipical autumn Empididae, does it?

There were quite a few of them feeding on the Tanacetum flowers along with Dioxina biddentis and Ensina sonchi. There were also some Scatophaga stercoraria watching and grabbing the odd D. bidentis for lunch Smile
