Hello, now that the season for Rhagio scolopaceus is mainly over, I have several smaller Rhagio from late May and early June to post. I start with this 7-8 mm male from the forest border (northwest Germany). R. lineola? Interesting, thank you Libor and Theo! Unfortunately there is no male maculatus in the gallery, so I had no idea concerning that species.

Theo is very probably right. I was confused by strange light of the picture. Normally, maculatus has bicolored pterostigma: centre yellow and both apexes brown. Libor |
