Thought this was a scuttle fly (Phoridae) but did think those two forward spiky bits at the bottom of the head were a bit odd. Someone suggested it may be Milichiidae
Taken a couple of days ago. South coast UK.

Looks like Phyllomyza flavitarsis. Did you collect the specimen for verification?

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
