Couldn't see a clear match in gallery images here, but closest I've found elsewhere with orangey legs, yellowed wing bases and similar thoracic markings is P.angelicae :- https://arthropod...=angelicae It also seems to conform to Mike's key ( ruling out some by distribution ) :- https://sites.goo...h-muscidae Edited by sbushes on 16-09-2021 00:38 |

Phaonia angelicae is correct. In NL, a common species in the end of summer on flowers.
