here's a photo of a tachinid fly I think which looks fairly distinctive. Does anyone recognised what genus it might be? There are quite a few bristles visible

I think it is Pelatachina tibialis. Sometimes the reddish leg colour is hard to see in photos. Steve |

thanks Steve. I've lightened the image and there does appear to be reddish on the hind and perhaps mid tibia visible Jeremy jeremyr attached the following image: [33.27Kb] |
