Hello,

An Opomyzidae found in North of France, at Clairmarais, the 11 June 2022, in a swampy area with grazing cattles nearby
I think it is a female Opomyza germinationis but I have a doubt with Opomyza petrei (sadly the proepisternum is blocked by the leg Shock )

I'm also inclined to go for Opomyza germinationis, but it's difficult to be sure, based on these pictures.

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
