Is this fly to be determined on the basis of the photos?
Location: Germany, North Rhine-Westphalia, in the Diersfordter forest - Great Veen near Wesel, size approx. 12 mm

I agree on the first with Danny, but the one seen in the face is in my opinion a female Pamponerus gemanicus. Please note the red metatarsi and the more robust way this fly looks.

Oh yes, you are right, Reinoud. I didn't check the third picture carefully because Jürgen mentioned it as the "third image of the same".
