Hello! On first glance I thought, this 2.5 mm fly last Tuesday night at our wintergarden (northwest Germany) was one of the usual darkish Drosophilidae. But looking at it on the PC I now think, it is a different family. But which...? Aw, I have been sticking my head into sphaerocerid matters too much the last few weeks. I meant Aulacigaster but that frontal lobe of mine slipped.
