my mistake. It is a Miltogramminae (Sarcophagidae). One for Liekele.

Miltogramma is correct.

M. aurifrons is possible, but it looks a bit different. In aurifrons the frontal stripe should be narrowing and the parafrontals and parafacials should have golden/yellow pollenosity.

Another possibility is Miltogramma algira. It is recorded from Algeria, but I have it from Morocco, too.

For a definite identification I would need male specimens.

Only M. auriforns y M. punctata are cited from Canary Islands.

Miltogramma iberica (ibericum)
Miltogramma oestracea (oestraceum)
Miltogramma punctata (punctatum)
Miltogramma ruficornis (= murinum a px-sar)
Miltogramma (Miltogrammatidium) taeniata (taeniatum)
Miltogramma testaceifrons

These are the species recorded in Spain until 2002, in case it helps (?) Beatiful fly Smile
