Hello

This dark tachinid is causing me trouble. North Zeeland Denmark, coastal area with forest, 27.v.2023

In the keys I hit something like Phryxe, but it doesnt look quite right.

5 mm

Any suggestions?

I believe you are spot on. And I can see where I went wrong in the key, guess I should have said no hair on cheeks.

Indeed, no hairs BELOW frontal bristles, that is the point.
