Northern Germany, Schenefeld near Hamburg, wall of earth between field of tree nursery and a street, grown over with old oaks, bushes like Hazel, maple, hawthorn, wild roses, bramble; altitude 25 m, Outside-/Studiofotos: kuv, 18/19th of July 2016. Thing to be added: The fly was landing at the leaf and then hurried up from one edge of the leaf to the next and so on ... ID possible? Please help. S.f. Platypezinae. Species is likelìy Lindneromyia, and checking its thorax (2 medial + 2 lateral more vague markings) I'm quite confident is L. dorsalis.
