This fly was small (2-3 mm) and close to spiders (Heliophanus dubius). I first tought it was an ant when looking at its behaviour. Ony this picture. I'd say Chloropidae but there are not many with marked wings. Any other views?

Comparing it with other images I would say you are correct. However, that species should be about twice the size as quoted above...

Hej Kurt! This was fun! From the northern provinces of Sweden, there are only some old records of H.biumbrata from Jämtland and Norrbotten. This is the first record for Ångermanland and I am very happy to see this. Viktor |
