7.5 mm, coniferous woodland, eastern England, July 2012 Meron and prosternum bare eyes closely approximated, orbitals absent radial node bare sternites shining black setae on sternites longer than segments sternites shorter than broad however the cercal plate doesn't look right, being rounded before a short, parallel-sided neck Any wisdom here appreciated! Thank you Stephane. That's a better figure in as much as the distal end is parallel sided even if the widening is still more obtuse. It went very easily to setiventris otherwise and given the good match with the key features I am glad that you agree with this identification. |
