7.5mm, late July on the intertidal zone, Northumberland NE England. The nearest I could find was Ceratinostoma ostiorum . Am I close?

Hi Stephen Looks like an Anthomyiidae I had a while back; Fucellia fucorum. Might be wrong again though. Roger There is another in the Gallery F tergina Edit: There is also F.maritima..don't know what that looks like.. ![]() Edited by Roger Thomason on 22-11-2009 21:31 |

Fucellia is right. The legs are not wholly black, so either F. tergina or F. maritima.
