Hello, I looked though the gallery and think that the first fly most resembles Eristalis alpina. The photo was taken at an altitude between 300 and 420 m in July in Germany, Saxony. From the name I would expect that the fly lives in the mountains at a higher altitude. So it belongs probably to another species, but which one? Could the second one be an E. lineata? The first and last are a female Eristalis rupium. I hesitate identifying the second one, I thought about E. pertinax, but that is not the case because the front tarsae are dark. It doesn't look like a second rupium either. |
