Hello, Rafael! I am no expert, but this one looks for me like Drosophila hydei (Drosophilidae). Best regards, Jürgen -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Juergen Peters Borgholzhausen, Germany WWW: http://insektenfo... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= |

Paul Beuk asked for a lateral view... The Drosophila is tricky! Do you have a good lateral view? From what I can see now, the lateral view resembles hydei, but the tip of the first costal segment seems to be darkened, which would indicate repleta... I'm sorry for the pictures; also I took the pictures on the tips of my feet rafael_carbonell attached the following image: [195.36Kb] Edited by rafael_carbonell on 07-01-2013 20:51 |

Due to this post at iNaturalist https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/65113709 and the identification tips here: https://www.inaturalist.org/journal/carnifex/43576-help-with-fruit-flies-id-tipps-for-common-drosophila-species It seems more like D. repleta: The wing area near costal break is darkened (only slightly here, but it is): rafael_carbonell attached the following image: [300.46Kb] Edited by rafael_carbonell on 18-11-2020 14:10 |

Taken all together, it seems to be D. repleta. The two species seem to coexist in different parts of the world with different results. In central Europe D. hydei becomes more common while the number of D. repleta is descending.
