Dilophus febrilis?

Copula of small black flies photographed today on the outside of a window, here in Ipswich, Suffolk. Each about 7 mm from head to tip of abdomen. I can see the apical circlet of spines on the tibia and some medial spines. I think these are Dilophus, probably D febrilis and would very much appreciate confirmation, or correction. Dilophus for sure. D. febrilis is a common species. The males I saw had translucent wings (except the pterostigma), yours looks more brownish. It might be, however, an optical illusion. The females' wings are dark except at the tip (see picture). This seems to be true also in your animal. A good dorsal picture would be helpful.
