Hello, I photographed this fly on yarrow today. It was much smaller than for example Cylindromyia bicolor. You can also estimate the size by looking at the flower heads of the yarrow. Is this possibly Cylindromyia pusilla? That’s what I thought: Clairvillia. Should be C. biguttata (but in these days, you never know!) Theo |
