Paul, can it be a Crumomyia pedestris, as it is the only one in our Dutch speciessystem...? Thanks for your reaction! Regards, Hedy |

We have more species of Crumomyia: fimetaria (Meigen, 1830) glabrifrons (Meigen, 1830) nigra (Meigen, 1830) nitida (Meigen, 1830) pedestris (Meigen, 1830) roserii (Rondani, 1880) Paul - - - - Paul Beuk on https://diptera.info |

Paul, thank you for mentioning all the species, which are more than one... Point is that I usually find the common one flies, so if Crumomyia pedestris is the only one that's found in or system, I just may think: that is the one I found too, sometimes that is to make life easy.. But...in this case I'm convinced and I may ask a Crumomyia spec. to the administrator. Regards and a smile, Hedy |
