Had this cool fly in my moth trap in late august in Vik i sogn, Norway. Have been looking for a long time to find out what this is. I think its the family cornutrypeta. But any more info about that family i cant find. Please help Smile! Sorry this is the only photo i have

It could be Cornutrypeta superciliata (family Tephritidae), which occurs in Norway.

In Merz (1994) it's named Stemonocera superciliata. and indeed, there is very little information about it in the WWW.

Indeed, Stemonocera superciliata (Frey), one of the rariest European flies. Like most Tephritini, a leaf miner, and like most tephritini miners, humidity requiring and thus restricted to mountain or forest areas.
