Hi,
does anybody know what this is?
I often see these on top of straw bales in the morning.
I take the photo on 24 March 2014 Kokkola, Finland.

Copromyza stercoraria makes sense. It’s more common in the area.

Looks like Copromyza, indeed. Dust pattern on anepisternum (mesopleuron) seems to indicate equina.
