Are these different specimens the mothmidge Clytocerus ocellaris?
April 2012 in my garden, Koudekerke, Netherlands.

Not unlikely. Do you have a detail shot of the antenna?

This specimen is collected and send to Louis Boumans. He told me that it's a male, but he has some doubts about the name. He thinks 1 wing spot might be missing for this species.
This is the best detail of the antenna I can provide.

This one is not collected. It escaped while making photographs, but it seems to me the same species looking at the wings, but the antennae are a bit different. Both with 16 segments?

The antennae are characteristic for Clytocerus. The second specimen is most likely a female of the same species - they have the antennae less distinct than the males. Louis has sent me your specimen already; I will slide-mount it the next time I am in the lab.
The ocellaris group is kind of tricky; there are several species that are both clearly distinct and poorly characterized - a revision of at least the European species is necessary. I'll see what I can do.

Gunnar M. Kvifte ID-ed the collected male as a Clytocerus splendidus, a new species for the Netherlands.
