Well, at least, I believe it is a Rhagionidae. My only picture. It was rather smaller than R. scolopaceus.
Soli?res (Belgium) May 21rst 2008. Edge of a damp wood, close to a stream.

In northern Europe this would be Rhagio maculatus, but I don't know if it has some look-alike species in C. Europe.

Femur I without dark ring at the middle: immaculatus. Rare in Belgium!

Thanks Paul. Soli?res is indeed a good place for unusual critters. I have seen and photographed Clitellaria ephippium there last month...
