Chrysopilus but not one I know. The only one recorded from Switzerland of which I completely am unaware of what it looks like it C. palparis.

Consulting Lindner in Lindner, I'd say it is the female of Ch. erythrophtalmus, which should occur in Switzerland.

Hmm, any pictures I could find for that species did not have those silvery markings, and none of the descriptions I have seen mention that. Still, I do not have Lindner to consult. Wink

I'd agree with erythrophthalmus - the females have silver markings on the abdomen (see description and picture in Stubbs and Drake) - it is typically associated with mountain streams.

Paul, the point is, erythrophthalmus is strongly sexual dimorph.
