Hello, the fly in the first picture was identified as Chloromyia formosa. I am wondering if the individual in the second picture is the same species? Both pictures were taken in the same garden near Poznan, northwest Poland; the first picture in July, the second one in September 2020.

Hi Bart, yes - the first is a male Chloromyia formosa, but the second image shows a Syrphidae: I think a Cheilosia sp. Eric |
