Yeh, but i write so, cose a collect tommrow wery similar plumosus near Chernigiv (Ukraine) wery similar species is also some Chironomus balatonicus |

So far I know from the descriptor of Ch. balatonicus, it is almost impossible to tell apart balatonicus from other species in the gruop by morphological characters. The descriptor used moleuclar methods to separate balanoticus from other species. Balatonicus if I understand correctly is usually larger and distinctly greener than pllumosus.
